The best walk is the national park area which the house overlooks.

You walk through woodland and arrive by the river and can walk for miles without seeing anyone.


Weavers Way:

This is a real treat to explore and only a 10 minute walk or a few minutes drive in the car.

It’s 61 miles through woodland, countryside, riverside walks and historic country estates.

It is a disused railway line and great for cycling as well.


Local Trust Houses:

Felbrigg Hall is a 17th Century country home with endless acres of parkland and lakes to explore.

Great for dog walking or cycling.
